What a referral is worth
Promote InputDojo to learners or teachers — a teacher on the annual plan is the largest single payout.
| Plan | Price | Your commission |
|---|---|---|
| Pro, annual | $79 | $23.70 |
| Ultimate, annual | $149 | $44.70 |
| Teacher, annualTeacher | $290 | $87 |
| Ultimate lifetime pass | $199 | $59.70 |
Current prices, in USD. Monthly plans earn 30% of each payment for the first 12 months. Commission follows the amount actually paid, after any discount.
No cookie window to worry about
Affiliate links usually depend on a cookie, and cookies expire — often before someone has finished deciding. Ours writes the referral onto the learner's account when they create it from your page, so the person who watches your video today and subscribes next month is still yours.
- The referral is stored on the account at signup, not in a cookie that expires.
- Payments made during the first 12 months of a subscription earn commission, under the affiliate program terms.
- An account keeps the affiliate it was created with; it is not reassigned to a later link.
Your page lives at inputdojo.com/c/your-name, and your stats page beside it shows signups, learners active this week and your pending, available and paid commission, live.
Ready-made hooks
Ideas that have an obvious demo behind them. Take them, change them, ignore them — they are inspiration, not required copy.
“How much JLPT N3 vocabulary do you actually know?”
“Paste any Chinese article and see which HSK words you already know.”
“I turned this Chinese/Japanese YouTube video into a language lesson.”
“This makes reading native Japanese or Chinese much less painful.”
“I turned a real news article into tomorrow's language lesson in under a minute.”

Copy you can paste
One-line description
InputDojo turns anything you want to read or watch in Japanese, Chinese or English into a lesson: tap any word for the meaning, save it, and it comes back as a review card.
Short description
InputDojo is a reading app for Japanese, Chinese and English learners. Import an article, a YouTube video or a PDF and read it with instant lookup; every word you save becomes a spaced-repetition card, and the app tracks how much of your target exam level you already know.
Longer description
InputDojo is built around comprehensible input: you learn a language by understanding things you actually want to read or watch. Paste a link — a news article, a YouTube video with subtitles, a PDF — and InputDojo turns it into a lesson. Tap any word for a reading and meaning in context; save it and it comes back as a review card the next day. A grammar tutor answers questions about the exact sentence in front of you. For exam candidates, InputDojo tracks JLPT-level vocabulary coverage and, for Chinese, coverage of the official HSK vocabulary lists, so you can see how the material you are reading maps to your target level. Teachers get courses with join codes, vocabulary homework drawn from those lists, a grading queue with inline corrections, and parent reports that open without an account.
Newsletter copy
I've been using InputDojo for reading practice. You paste in an article or a YouTube video and it becomes a lesson: tap a word, see what it means in that sentence, save it, and it comes back as a review card. What sold me is the coverage view — it shows how much of my target exam level a text actually uses, so I stop guessing whether something is too hard. If you want to try it, my link gives you a free month of Ultimate: [your link]
Blog review material
Things worth covering in a review: importing a YouTube video, an article and a PDF; tapping a word and saving it; the next day's review queue; the exam coverage view for JLPT or HSK; the grammar tutor answering about one sentence; and, if your readers teach, the course and homework side. Screenshots of your own account are more convincing than anything we could send you — please show the parts that did not impress you as well.

The rules, plainly
- Attribution is the account: a learner who signs up through your page is yours, and payments during the first 12 months of any subscription they start earn commission.
- Commission accrues on money we have received. Free trials, free months and coupons earn nothing until an invoice is paid.
- Commission is released after the applicable refund and payment-processing period — 30 days after each payment — and paid out monthly once your available balance reaches $50.
- A refund or chargeback voids commission that has not been paid, and is deducted from your next payout if it has.
- You may not buy through your own link, run paid ads on the InputDojo brand name, or offer discounts we did not publish.
- You are a self-employed contractor. Payouts need an invoice or a self-billing statement; we operate from Sweden and pay by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer in USD.
- The learner referral bonus (30 free days for both sides) does not stack with affiliate attribution.
Questions
- How is a referral tracked?
- Your landing page records the referral on the learner's account when they sign up. There is no cookie to expire: the account carries your slug, and payments during the first twelve months of any subscription on it are credited to you under the program terms.
- When am I paid?
- Commission becomes eligible after the refund and payment-processing period has passed — 30 days after each payment. Available balances of $50 or more are paid once a month by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer.
- Do I need to send payout details to apply?
- No. The application asks who your audience is and how you would present InputDojo. We collect payout details after you are accepted, when there is something to pay.
- Do free trials count?
- No. Every new account gets 14 days of Ultimate free, and people who sign up through your link get a full month instead. After that they keep the free plan unless they subscribe; commission starts with the first paid invoice.
- Can I promote to teachers?
- Yes, and it is worth doing: a teacher on the annual plan is $87 against $44.70 for a learner on Ultimate annual. School contracts are quoted individually; write to us before pitching one and we will agree a finder's fee.
- What about the China pass prices?
- Passes bought with Alipay or WeChat Pay are one-time purchases; you earn 30% of the amount paid, once, converted to USD.
- Can I see my numbers?
- Your stats page shows signups, learners active in the last week, paying referrals and your pending, available and paid commission, updated live.
