How it works
无论如何 is an emphatic adverbial phrase used to indicate that a situation or decision remains unchanged regardless of any conditions or difficulties. It is commonly used to express strong determination or to highlight an absolute requirement.
Examples
为了按时完成项目，我们无论如何都要在今天下班前提交报告。
Wèile ànshí wánchéng xiàngmù, wǒmen wúlùn rúhé dōu yào zài jīntiān xiàbān qián tíjiāo bàogào.
In order to complete the project on time, we must submit the report before getting off work today no matter what.
关于这件事，无论如何我也不能同意你的看法。
Guānyú zhè jiàn shì, wúlùn rúhé wǒ yě bùnéng tóngyì nǐ de kànfǎ.

Common mistakes
Placement error: Users sometimes place '无论如何' after the main verb; it should be placed before the verb or at the beginning of the clause.
Tip
Think of '无论如何' as a formal equivalent to '不管怎么样'. It is often paired with '也' or '都' to strengthen the resolve of the statement.
