How it works

Common mistakes
Users often confuse '从而' with '因此'. While '因此' simply means 'therefore,' '从而' specifically highlights that the second part is a result achieved through the specific means mentioned in the first part.

Always remember that '从而' must be preceded by an action or a method; you cannot use it if the first clause is just a simple state of being without a cause-and-effect method.
