What it explains
…から for a reason — recognise it for now
すきですから、これを おねがいします — I like it, so I'll have this. The reason comes first and から closes it, which is the opposite order from English so. This is the same から you know from 9時から, doing an unrelated job; context keeps them apart. Recognising it is enough at this point.
You need four phrases, not fluency
すみません to get attention, これを おねがいします or ひとつ ください to order, いくらですか for the price, ありがとうございます at the end. Staff will often reply in polite forms well beyond this level. That is fine — the job is extracting the price, the quantity and the confirmation, not parsing every word of the reply.
The scene itself is in the app.
Lesson one of this track is free to read in full. From lesson two on, the story, the audio and the review are part of a free account.
