Every time; whenever

Structure

Verb plain form + たびに | Noun の + たびに

How it works

Use ~たびに to express that something happens or a certain feeling arises every single time a particular action or event occurs.

Examples

Common mistakes

Confusing it with ~ごとに, which implies a more regular interval or fixed measure.
