JLPT N3
~になれる
Can become; get used to
Structure
Noun + に + 慣れる
How it works
This grammar point expresses adapting or becoming accustomed to a situation, environment, or skill. It signifies a process of increasing familiarity and comfort.
Examples
新しい環境にもう慣れましたか。
Have you already gotten used to the new environment?
Common mistakes
Confusing it with simple '~になる' (to become), which doesn't imply adaptation.
Tip
Remember '慣れる' (nareru) means 'to get used to'. The particle 'に' indicates the object of familiarity.
